......pretty much all you think about is when your baby is going to get here. We are in the final days and our thoughts are filled with anticipation of meeting this baby girl. We are so excited to meet her and have her join our family. In the meantime, we are keeping busy with lots of things while we wait for her to arrive.
We are filling up the pool to stay cool.....
And having some popsicles poolside.....
And we have had big news! Kyla lost her first tooth!
It had been wiggly for awhile and then all of a sudden it came out without a problem. She was SO excited and proud. She couldn't wait for Daddy to get home to show him.
Ready for the tooth fairy to come.....
If we aren't outside, we can be found inside painting or coloring.
And, we have a new found love around here.....Kyla loves hunting for little bugs.
At first, Ashlyn wasn't so sure what she thought about all of this, but is getting more used to her big sister introducing her to some new creatures.
We have had fun baking. My two little baking helpers in their aprons.
And their is always lots of imaginative play. And right now some of that involves a baby coming. How could I not laugh at these two girls with baby dolls in their shirts telling me that they are going to have babies? Like I said, you can tell what our minds are on.
We have been fortunate to have some beautiful summer days. As a very pregnant mama, this has been wonderful. And we have loved being outside on many days.
Even better when Daddy gets to be with us.
Especially since he is the kind of Daddy that when his girls say, "Will you have a tea party with us, Daddy?".....this is what I see -
The final days of pregnancy are here......we are loving our summer and are so anxious to meet this baby girl.
